A SUPPORTIVE HOUSING ENVIRONMENT

PROJECT: CHARITY'S HOME

TESTIMONIALS

"My name is Dante Reavers, and I’m a single father of two. At one point, my children and I experienced homelessness, which placed significant emotional, mental, and financial strain on our family. Charity’s Home gave us the opportunity to participate in the Family Reset, which became a turning point for us. The program focused on healing the family, improving communication, and addressing challenges that arise during instability. At the time, my son Israel was 6 and my daughter Eden was 8, and neither of them—nor I at 31—had that type of training. The classes broadened our perspective, helping my children see that their futures aren’t limited by current circumstances, and challenging me to think beyond survival toward possibility.

The program also emphasized building legacy and financial awareness, providing practical tools that immediately shaped how I approach parenting, finances, and long-term planning. My children felt included, empowered, and supported throughout the process. I’m grateful for the opportunity Charity’s Home provided. The Family Reset didn’t just support us during a difficult season—it helped us build a stronger foundation for the future."
